Power BI Report Builder does not start

Power BI Report Builder does not start. It just disappears during startup. I'm using version 15.7.1797.84. Can you help me with this?

    Hi  mma812 ,

     

    I think version 15.7.1797.84 should be the latest version. And I download it to have a test. It works well.

     

     

    As far as I know, you don't need any license to download Power BI Report Builder from the Microsoft Download Center for free. 

     

    Please check the configuration of your computer to make sure it meets the requirements.

    Supported Operating System:

    Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 7, Windows 8

    Note: 

    This component also requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2.

    80 MB of available hard disk space

    512 MB of RAM

     

    Please make sure Power BI Report builder is in white list in your policy.

      I have Windows 10 and .Net framework 4.8 has been installed. Still Report Builder does not work.

       

      I get following false codes, unfortunately they are in Finnish. But there seems to be problem with KERNELBASE.dll. Do you have any idea how to fix this?

    Same in my case.
    Has anyone found solotion? I have tried everything, including repairing/uninstaling framework and builder multiple times, removing cfg files etc.
