Power BI Report Builder - WEB Connector - Advanced Options (HTTP request header parameters)
Hi Luiz_Grillo
You are right – Power BI Report Builder does not currently support adding custom HTTP request headers in the Web connector, unlike Power BI Desktop.
This limitation makes it difficult to connect directly to APIs that require authentication (e.g.,Authorization: Bearer <token>) or other custom headers. The current workarounds are either to use Power BI Desktop and then publish the dataset, or to configure an intermediate proxy that injects the required headers.
Opening a new Idea in the Fabric Ideas forum would be the right way to request this capability so the product team can evaluate and prioritize it.
