Power BI Report Builder - Many Blank Pages

I apologize for not being able to post screenshots. All the data on the report belongs to my employer.

I have tried everything and can't seem to get rid of blank pages in my paginated report. I have about three pages but get seven blank pages scattered throughout my report. I have turned off page breaks in every property page I can think of. I have also tried to slim down the margins and turned off the ability of text boxes to expand.  I am at a loss. Does anyone have any resources that would help? I have tried watching many youtube videos but have not made any progress.

    This is from the SSRS Cheat Sheet I keep around, though I don't use Report Builder often now.

     

    1. Check Page Size and Margins: Ensure that the page size and margins are properly for the report. Sometimes, the blank pages may be caused by a larger page size or margins, which pushes content onto additional pages.

    2. Check Page Breaks: Review all the tables, matrices, and other visual elements in your report to ensure there are no unnecessary page breaks inserted. Disable page breaks where needed.  

    3. Check for Hidden Objects: Make sure there are no hidden objects on your report that could contribute to the blank pages. 

    4. Remove Empty Rows and Columns: If you have tables or matrices in your report, check for empty rows or columns that might be causing extra space.

    5. Verify Data Source and Filtering: Verify the data source and the filters on your report. This may be if the data source is returning blank or empty rows, and can cause blank pages.

    6. Update Pagination Settings: Check the report's pagination settings.

      I had the same issue. Set "ConsumeContainerWhitespace" to True on the Report Settings. This helped for me.

        Thank you! I had same issue with blank pages and tried everything following all the tips from official MS documentation. Finally found your post and it made my day!
