Power BI: Replace Existing Report Not Working As Expected

Hi Power BI Community!   I have an issue and I wanted to know if there are any types of workarounds.  I currently have 4 reports each have their own dataset - meaning 4 dataset refreshes run daily....

    Hi wjkolesar ,

    Please check if your Datasets' names are the same. The replace rule is based on the name of dataset.

Hi wjkolesar ,

 

My recommendation would be to try REST API method Update Report Content In Group. 

Update an initial report with content of a second one. After this you probably will be able to upload with replace.
