Power BI Release Management
Hi All,
I need your help.
I am new to Power BI and got a new responsiblity in my company. We have a Power BI project which will be deployed soon at enterprise level. My responsibility is to handle release management.
Now talking about Power BI we have Desktop, personal getway and service. Once new release (version) has be pushed by Microsoft how can we make sure Desktop and personal getway should not be affected as well none of existing component fail.
Does anyone worked before with Power BI release managemnt and help me to understand how can we make sure relaese each time go smooth without any issue. If anyone have Power BI release document and can share with me will be a great help.

This is like a box of chocolates, you will never know what you're gonna get. Generally speaking, the new release will be compatible with the old versions. But no one will expect to know what issues it has. Power BI is a very big project.
You can get the new features of the new release of Power BI as the snapshot shows. Then you can decide whether you will upgrade it.

Could we know the Power BI desktop release date for July 2018? Can we know the release schedule for future releases and commitment to adher to timeline. As this involves business critical change process, It would be helpfull to have a planned release.
