Power BI Refresh stuck on Evaluating for Oracle Native Queries

Good day Forum

I am running into an issue where I am connecting to an Oracle database and Native Queries are not being loaded in Power BI Desktop due to being stuck on the Evaluating step.  These queries work fine in Power Query.  They return data in a matter of seconds.  However when I Close & Apply in Power Query, return to PBI desktop and the refresh starts we cannot make it past the Evaluating stage.  All queries using table references rather than Native Queries work fine.

Has anyone observed this behavior before and were you able to find a resolution?

@MattKarriker2 , Try these load settings and increase the Data cache

Also, do not load, go to transform data and load fewer rows

@amitchandak Thank you for your reply.  I have already made these changes and tested them.  Unfortunately they do not work.  The change I am making is to reduce the number of rows returned by the Native Query.  Originally when I added this table to the model I had no issues with Native Queries.  Now I have 2 in this model and neither of them will allow me to change them in Power Query now.

The only difference in my machine from when I was able to use Native queries and now is Power BI Desktop updates.  I am currently running March 2023 version of PBI Desktop.  If I cannot get this resolved soon I see no other option than to uninstall PBI Desktop and reinstall an older version and hope it works.
