Power BI Publish Bug

On 5/22/2024, Power BI was upgraded, and there was an issue while publishing the report.

 

The publishing view has changed today. When we have fewer workspaces, I can see the select button at the bottom of the workspace to publish in the right workspace, but when we have more workspaces and when we need to scroll top and bottom to select workspaces, we do not see the select button.


There is no select button

 

 

Can the Microsoft team test and republish the version, as this is causing issues for people who work in more workspaces?

    Workaround:
    On your Power BI Desktop --> Go to File --> Options and settings --> Options
    --> Select "Preview feature" --> unselect "Enhanced publish dialogs" --> Click OK -->
    Click "OK" on the pop up message ---> Close Power BI Desktop ---> re-open your pbix file and Publish your report as usual.

      Regarding your question, I am now re-testing it in the latest version and here is how I did it:

       

      It is currently fine in the latest version, you can contact your technical team to update your version as required.

      Here are my current version numbers:

    lucky9228 i tried to replicate the issue, but on my side everything works fine.
    I can scroll within a list of workspaces on the left.
    Once workspace is selected, i can scroll on the right to see all items in that workspace.

    But whatever i clicked, button "Select" was visible.

     

     

    There are two basic steps 🙂
    1) reset pc
    2) if it doesn't help, reinstall Power BI desktop application via Microsoft Store

    Hi,

     

    I have the same problem. Maybe it only happens when a corporate message exists on the top. Like you I have one also. I did a reset. Maybe the better option is to rollback to April.
