Hi all,
A general question for the Power BI community -
I'd like to get a feel for the average number of queries that most people are working with.
I'm working on improving the performance of one of my models - just curious about what other people are doing.
Thanks!
S Swanson

Thank you so much for posting these articles Amit! 🙂
Very helpful.
To clarify - I was referring to the number of queries in Power Query, not in DAX. Sorry, I should have worded that a little better 🙂
I realize that it is probably pretty variable, and it depends on the project, but I'm wondering what the best practices were for creating multiple queries in Power Query before loading the model in Power BI. Recently, I've been working more with M in Power Query, because I can do some of the work up front and not necessarily load everything into the data model - I was thinking that I might be able to improve performance this way.
To give some background, I'm connecting to csv or xlsx files hosted on SharePoint.
Thanks again for your message,
S Swanson
