Power BI Online Data Doesn't Match PowerBI Desktop Data

I have a dataset that is showing different values in PowerBI Desktop than on PowerBI Online.  They are using the same source.

 

The data on PBI Online is only showing 2009 and 2010 data, the data on PBI Desktop is showing 2008 - 2016.  I have tried removing filters, publishing through Desktop, refreshing the data, etc.. For some reason PowerBI Online just doesn't pull all the data.

 

Any ideas?

What is the source ?

Are you importing the data or direct query ?

Go in Datasets section and see if you can pull the relevant data or  not
