Impactful IndividualPower BI On premises
how much is the cost of Power BI on premises? do i need to buy fabric license? what are the features which are not available in on premises comparison with Power BI cloud?
powerbiexpert22 F1 has the minimum but for Prod and other F4 will be better choice as it provides much more resource

Hi powerbiexpert22 Power BI on-premises requires Power BI Report Server, included with a Power BI Premium license or SQL Server Enterprise with Software Assurance. Fabric licenses aren’t needed.
Missing features compared to cloud:
- No AI/ML integrations.
- Limited collaboration features.
- No real-time dashboards or streaming datasets.

is Power BI premium capacity license is still available? I came to know that Premium Capacity licence is stopped from microsoft. If this is correct then how can I purchase Power BI On prem license , I do not have SQL Server Enterprise with Software Assurance

Yes, customers will need to purchase Fabric Reserved SKUs to access Power BI Report Server if they do not have SQL Server Enterprise with Software Assurance.

Hi powerbiexpert22 you could decide which capacity to purchase by assessing user concurrency, dataset size, and model complexity. Monitor CPU/memory usage during report refreshes and user interactions.You could start with small to medium i guess but i also clearly dont know your requirements so based on requirements mainly choose the SKU
