Power BI Licence Question

Share reports, dashobord etc require a Pro Licence for  eache user that want to access at shared object.

 

You can avoid pro license for each user going to Premium license, in this case only one Pro License is required for who publish the reports.

Sorry how can I avoid pro licence if I want the consumers to access a report I have shared ??

    Richard76 you can't, the only way you can do that is by sharing pbix files which means you have to use the desktop and you can't control security / access.  sharing is paid for functonality with power bi

    The only way to implement this securely is with power bi embedded or power bi premium which come with additional costs/maintainence and are designed for distribution for 100s to 10,000s of users.

     

    If your data does not have to be secure you can use publish to the web, this will publically publish your report and dataset to the web.  do not use it for confidential data.
