Power BI Layers and Selection

Hi

I have a report with multiple tables: Risk table as the main table and always visible on top and then multiple functions tables. The function tables are supposed to appear only when a row in risk table is selected (a risk is defined by multiple functions).

I have a defined a blanket card to cover the function tables by default and then the card becomes transparent when a row in risk table is selected. In such case the function tables become visible.

Issue: I cannot choose any row within function tables and cannot scroll those tables. The reason is the blanket card is still on top albeit transparent.

What solution do you suggest?

Regards

Reza

    Hi Anonymous

I cannot think of a good solution. If you want to interact with the function tables after they become visible, using bookmarks to hide/show visuals would be better. However bookmarks cannot be triggered by your interactions (select a row) in the risk table. This is a problem.

Hi  v-jingzhang, many thanks, yes as you mentioned bookmarks cannot be used as function.
