I am just testing out Power BI before recommending it for company reporting.
I created a very basic report based on this tutorial Tutorial Followed
I have published the report and the map option does not display and shows the following message "Map and filled map visuals aren't enabled for your org. Contact your tenant admin to fix this"
I have looked under Admin but do not have any options.
From what I have read I have an un-adopted Tenant and it appears that to get things working I should of set up a Office 365 account rather than a stand alone PowerBI account.
As this is something I am just wanting to test and publish, cannot I just adopt the tenant so I can gain access to the relevant tools?
I have watched a number of videos but is there one that shows a complete end to end setup of Power BI and what are the prerequisits?

Hi @HarlequinTP ,
To get access to Power BI Admin Portal, your account needs to be marked as a Global Admin, within Office 365 or Azure Active Directory, or have been assigned the Power BI service administrator role, to get access to the Power BI admin portal.
For more information, please refer to below links:

In addition, Office 365 Global admin is a role. It will not cause additional cost as you already purchased Office 365 license.
If the problem is still not resolved, please point it out and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your reply.

Henry
