Power BI Helper tool handling only the metadata of your Power BI system. You need to register an AAD application which is a basic requirement for any external to access the Power BI metadata or APIs.

Post PatronHariharan_R Thanks for your answer, I already saw that comment from Reza. I do trust him as he is well known in the community, but if we have an internal audit, I need something more tangible than a comment 🙂
But there is a statement on his page as well saying that no data is stored anywhere.
Could you give me a hint on how to register the app? I did try the usual way ->
But if i click sign in, i am redirected to -> https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/developers/
if i sign in there, i end up in my PBI service cloud.
Then i was trying -> https://app.powerbi.com/embedsetup
But i cant select the native app option, its like this:

Hi Hariharan_R ,
thanks for the answer. I did try the 2nd solution already, but it seems as we are sitting on a dedicatd capacity, the azure authorization asked for the Corporate admin (grant admin constent for XYZ). I can't proceed from this point.
