Power BI Gateway connection to Network Folder error
My organisation are having issues with the Gateway connecting to Network folders.
We get the invalid credentials message when trying to add it.
The Gateway is on a AWS EC2 instance, and we can connect to other databases etc, but not a network folder.
The instance is able to ping the server of the network, but not directly access the folder (but wouldn't that depend on the credentials used in gateway connection).
Does the instance need to be able to directly connect to the exact network folder?
Or is there another issue using an AWS EC2 instance that could be stopping this?
Unfortunately we do not have a PBI admin/gateway expert in our organisation.

While I fully admit that a lot of that went over my head, it looks like it is talking about getting the gateway working on AWS EC2.
Our gateway is working, it just seems to have an issue connecting to the windows file network - which I couldn't see in the link.
I will still send it through to the team that are trying to look into this for me.
