Power BI Gateway connection Timeout issue

Received error payload from gateway service with ID 428761: A problem hosting the mashup engine was detected. Reason: <pi>Timeout</pi>. Error code: -2147467259

We are facing an issue while using a Oracle connection which is getting errored out and next time when we put the password in the gateway its running for the time and again shows the error in couple of days.

The error message is as below:

Received error payload from gateway service with ID 428761: A problem hosting the mashup engine was detected. Reason: <pi>Timeout</pi>. Error code: -2147467259

Troubleshoot connection problems

@Dipayan_Guha,

Are you able to connect to the Oracle database from 64 bit Power BI Desktop which is installed in the gateway machine? And please make sure that you use same account to Oracle database in Desktop and gateway.

If you have no issues connecting to Oracle in Desktop, please go to C:\Program Files\On-premises data gateway\Microsoft.PowerBI.DataMovement.Pipeline.GatewayCore.dll.config, increase test connection timeout value (e.g, 00:02:50) and check if the issue still persists. Please note that after changing the timeout value, gateway service is required to restart.
