Power BI Gateway - On premise and Online data source together

Hi All,

My power bi report consist of 4 different data sources. 2 is from SharePoint Online and 2 is from On Premise.

My report gets refresh fine in Power BI Desktop. But when i publish it then it is not getting refresh and i beleive Power BI Workspace doesn't have option as of now to refresh both the sources (nline and On Premise) together, or do we have any option?

The error which i am getting is Gateway or data sources are not reachable and also it is asking to edit the sharepoint nline credentials and after editing that nothing happens, the issue remains the same.

Do we have any way to make it refresh - "The online and On Premise" together in Power BI Workspace?

Thanks in Advance

Prakash M

Hi @Anonymous ,

As far as I know, this is possible. Please configure the gateway and set credentials . For details, please refer tohttps://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/service-gateway-mashup-on-premises-cloud

@Anonymous , In power bi service. In your workspace . Click on three on three dots for your dataset. and open settings and you will see the option give details for on-premise gateway and dataset credential (for online source)

Hi @amitchandak ,

The solution in the below post says that we can't have on premise and online data source together in a single report while refreshing that in workspace. Is that true? or do we have any alternate solution for that?
