Power BI Free vs Power BI Pro licensing considerations

Hi all,

I have some licensing queries in the context Power BI Free vs Power BI Pro.

The customer is on Office 365 and using SharePoint Online.  The customer bought 2 Power BI Pro licenses for the IT development team who have experience in designing data models for the organizations.

However, CFO and management, who have Power BI Free edition, also wants to modify the Power BI charts and share the sales information to CEO.

What I understand that only Power BI Pro have capability to modify and Share.

Q: Can IT dev team share the CFO who has Power BI Free edition?
Q: If CFO / Management want to modify/share to CEO, then they MUST have Power BI Pro license?   

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

You are right. To modify the report, the user must have pro account.

CFO also requires Power BI Pro account.  Right?

Yes. If your CFO want to edit the report/view the report
