Hi Please may you assist I am seeing a strange issue when combining multiple excels via sharepoint connector. When I try combine in Power Query I get the following System Resources Exceeded error.
I am not quite sure if this is something to do with not having Power BI premium or if this is something to do with my PC which is a Lenovo T14 Intel i5 16GB Ram. Is my ram too small or is this a throttling of some sort because of not being on Power BI premium? Or does Sharepoint limit how much data I can ingest through Power BI?
Anyone ever experienced this?
Hello, Syndicate_admin. Of course it has happened to me. When I have made a measurement that I know was complex (the last one was one that filtered between very large disconnected tables). In addition, use the measure in a table with many registers, thus forcing you to perform a number of calculations that exceed the capacity of the calculation engine. I don't know if I'm going to be able to help you much. Every scenario I've encountered requires a solution. The most obvious is to simplify the calculations needed in your measure. Also rely on calculated columns that make you part of the previous work. Or try testing your measurement in a visual that doesn't require as many calculations (grouping the possible results into a smaller number of options)
Hi Syndicate Admin and thanks a lot for this.
I think my issue is happening before getting to design any of those measures it is when I am still getting data into Power Query. I believe your sistuation happens when doing measures after data is loaded. This is before data is loaded.
