Power BI Embedded

Hi everyone, I have a question:

We have an ASP.NET application and we want the clients to create their own reports (with power bi desktop and connected to our azure database) and publish to our power bi service (they need a PRO account, right?).

With Power Bi Embedded, is it possible to show all user reports (that are in the power bi service) in our app? In other words, we want to show all of their reports on one form in our app (the user will see only the report name and when click, the report query runs and it will open the report with updated information).

Is that possible? Do we need a power bi embedded capacity in azure, for what purpose?

Best Regards,

Juan

  • Hi juanivertiq ,

Both the Pro and Free users can create and publish reports from Power BI Desktop to Power BI Service, while the Free users may not create ,update and consume Apps.

Only the Pro users can create and update Apps, and the viewers of Apps need a Power BI Pro license, or the content needs to be in a Premium capacity which has Power BI Embeded capacity and Power BI Premium capacity. see How to purchase Power BI Premium .

    Best Regards,

    Amy
