    Hi JonnieM2

Unfortunately, dynamic format strings for DAX measures, such as adding currency codes, are currently supported only in Power BI reports and not in Excel when connecting to a published dataset. While Power BI can handle these custom formatting strings, Excel currently does not support this feature and will display only the numerical value without the dynamic formatting.

As of now, this functionality is limited to Power BI, and there's no built-in option to enable it in Excel Pivot Tables.
