Power BI Drillthrough pages

How to Restrict Drillthrough Page Visibility Based on Base Page in Power BI?
Hi all,

I have multiple base report pages and corresponding drillthrough pages in my Power BI report. For example:

Base Page: Prior Year Loss Making Customers

Drillthrough Pages:

Prior Year Loss Making Customer - Drillthrough

Prior Year Loss Making Customer - Drillthrough (2)

Similarly, I have other base pages like Top 30 Customers, New Loss Making Customers, etc., each with their own set of specific drillthrough pages.

Issue:
When I right-click on any visual across any base page, I can see all available drillthrough pages, regardless of whether they’re relevant to that page.

Hi @riteshmen

As you may know, you can add a Drillthrough page by Column Name or Measure Name.

The Drillthrough option will then automatically appear on all pages that use that Column or Measure when you right click, even when you dont want it to ... which is annoying.

A simple work arround is to create duplicate Columns and Measures, each with different names.

I know that this methods sucks but it does work!

Alternatively you could add a Drill Button just for the option you want, but this will not disable the automatic Drilldowns. Learn how to add a Drill Button here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=biBxHaDbHCE

You can suggest and vote for the desired feature to disabale the drillthrough on certain pages.

Sorry this is not the answer you wanted ... I dont work for Micros Soft.  I am just a user like yourself.

Please click thumbs up because I have tried to help.

I posted an idea about allowing drill down links to be specifically specificed and not rely on PBi finding like named columns. Up vote it here:

Hi @riteshmen   ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.

I would like to thank @speedramps    for providing possible solutions. In addition to the speedramps i want to add one more point.
Duplicate the entire table and remove relationships between theem and Use visuals from the unconnected table (disconnected table) where drillthrough should be disabled.
I hope this information helps. Please do let us know if you have any further queries.
