Power BI Direct Query Drop Down Table show the latest date.

Hi,

I have a Power BI Report where I have a drop down table for my date.

Now the date shown is the last selected date and each time I need to re-select to show the latest date.

Is it possible to get the latest date  data shown in the DIRECT query method ?

the client is requesting to see it in that manner.

I could not get a real solution from the previous queries regarding this issue.

Any help is appreciated.

    Learner_SG , As of now, Power BI does not provide an outbox option for the latest date selection.

     

    You need to have a column at Source, in this dax do not work and use that in visual

     

    If( [Date] = Max([Date]) , "Latest Date", [Date] & "")

     

    and use that in the slicer and save it on the latest date

      amitchandak , thanks for the reply. But mine is a direct query model.

      It's not possible to use it,right?
