Try turning on diagnostics,

File | Options and settings | Options | Diagnostics | Enable tracing

Then try publishing again an then copy your trace log and send it to support.

DAX is easy, CALCULATE makes DAX hard...

Thanks for the reply. I have sent the trace logs to support and awaiting their reply.

The error message in the logs says that "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:8888". Please let me know if there is a solution to this issue.

Port for service may be being blocked by firewall?

Maybe try disable firewall, try and republish and see if you get the same error.

Just to diagnose whether or not it is firewall related.

I have tried disabling Firewall and reinstalling Power BI Desktop. Doesn't seem to work.

BTW I am using Power BI Desktop in Azure VM and the same issue is coming while doing "Sign In" in Power BI Desktop as well as publishing a file. It had been working well till few days back but I don't know what went wrong suddenly.
