Power BI Desktop really slow

Hello,

Since 2 weeks my Power BI Desktop is very very very slow even without opening any file.

Lauching an empty file takes a long time and I don't understand why. I installed the latest version but nothing changed.

When I look into my Task Manager, I see a very low usage of my processor and most of time at 0%.

Can someone help with this issue ?

Have you installed from App store or from aka.ms/pbisingleinstaller

Try reinstalling from aka.ms/pbisingleinstaller

I installed from after downloading the intall file. But I'm not admin on my computer i cannot install myself

You must try that and you may get the pbi desktop started properly!

Goto to File ->Optiosn and settings - > Options and select the below options under Data Load option

your power bi desktop should start working faster
