Power BI Desktop "Refresh" does not work, instead shows only last refresh date.

Hello,

Power BI Desktop "Refresh"(right click on data source->Refresh) does not work, instead shows only last refresh date.

There is no info why, like box with "No access" or "No connection".

I made no changes in my PBI file etc. (It is refreshed for few years already. last time was refreshed 2 weeks ago)

For check, I created a new blank PBI and connected it to Excel data source. - Table was created successfully but Refresh is also impossible.

Please kindly help with this issue.

yes its a confirmed issue by microsoft support and they are working on it.

The issue has been sloved in Version 2.130.930.0.

@BlazejKap , I can see the refresh option on the right click. What it shows in your case is the tooltip.

This can happen because of missing Windows updates. Please make sure to install pending Windows update and then try that out
