Power BI Desktop on Surface Pro 7, i7 - can't use Pen to annotate or draw

I want to use this as a training aid for some PBI presentations.  Is there a fix or a setting I missed ?  Needs to be desktop as I cant always connect to the service.  (I can't be the only traininer that want;s to do this !)  Love the Surface, Love PBI - would love 'em more if they played nice ...

I had the same issue, and have found a work around. 

I have used the Fullscreen Snip feature of the in Surface Tablet. You can use it by double clicking on the cap button of you pen or click on the pen icon in the task bare.

Following is my report: 

I double clicked on the pen cap button and it took it to snip.

I scribbled on it and then clicked on Share button on the top right corner of the screen and sent it as mail to the team.

It is supported for Power BI to use pen on Surface Pro 7. I think you maybe miss some settings. Suggest you to create a support ticket to get quick and dedicated help.
