Power BI Desktop not running on Windows 7 64 bit machine

hi all,

we have a machine installed Windows 7 (screenshot below for its details), installed Power BI but its not running instead showing error (screenshot for error is also below) , when pressed button Report this issue it is showing another dialog box and then nothing happened, just have to press Ok, both link it is showing but not working and on issues.powerbi.com i failed to find how i can register issue.

please help, Windows 7 is listed in Power BI's support systems list (System Requirement)

Hi @Anonymous ,

Power BI Desktop will no longer be supported on Windows 7 after January 31st, 2021. After that date, Power BI Desktop will be supported on Windows 8 or newer versions of Windows, for the most recent release of Power BI Desktop only.

Previous monthly updates to Power BI Desktop and the Power BI service

It is suggested that you go back to the old version.
