Power BI Desktop not refreshing data from Excel spreadsheet

First day back at work after the Christmas shutdown period - and BAM... Power BI Desktop refuses to update data from Excel spreadsheets.

 

It claims to be successful, but it isn't. The data shown in the Power BI Desktop is not the same as that in the Excel spreadsheet. I have no idea where to start looking for this one.

 

 

Excel version is 2016 - 16.0.6001.1043 - from Office 365.

 

Excel file is stored locally, but is in a One Drive for Business location.

 

Any ideas where I can start looking for why this might not be working?

    reptar Might this blog will help you out given here. And as per the blog it says updates will automatically occur in Power BI according to the default refresh settings policy in Power BI.
