Power BI Desktop not connecting to Access on 64-bit

I have 64-bit Power BI and Office installed, along with the Microsoft Access Database Engine driver installed for 64-bit.

I get the following error message...

failed to save modifications to the server. error returned: 'The provider 'Microsoft.PowerBI.OleDb' is not registered. The following system error occurred: Class not registered A connection could not be made to the data source

Any ideas?

I just want to point out that this error shows up when you install 32 instead of 64 bit edition of Power BI.

It happends because you don´t have the providers installed on your machine for 32 bit
