Power BI Desktop issues with 200+ tables

Anybody worked on data models having more that 200 tables? Experiencing issues when working on large data models exceeding 200 tables. Documentation suggest that maximum columns allowed are 16000 but currently not reaching this threshold. Either it hide tables from field panes or show error when loading data model. Currently using direct query for Impala data source.
