Power BI Desktop installed in Virtual Machine - Slicer setting not available. Specifically dropdown

Hi All,

Power BI desktop has been installed in the virtual machine. Slicer settings is not available in the desktop version installed and specifically not able to change it into dropdown as it is not available. Below are the screenshots:

To be able to use dropdown option for slicer you have to use the (old) classic slicer. Not the new slicer.

Hi @AbithaRamanan - Try to install the latest version of Power BI Desktop in your Virtual remote desktop from microsoft website. 

Download Microsoft Power BI Desktop from Official Microsoft Download Center

still issue exist publish the report into power bi services with same slicers, once publish there you can edit the report and change the slicers setting style as per your requirement and download the pbix file.

Hopefully it will get resolved once you install the latest version. It works
