Hi,
I just started using Power BI Desktop. By clicking Get Data in the Data Group on the Home Tab, I was able to pull in Data from an ODBC data source I have defined on my PC (Windows 10 Pro). When I did this, I was able to choose any of the tables that exist in this data source, but I only chose one table.
Now I would like to add additional tables from this same data source, but it is not clear to me how I can do this.
If anyone here can tell me how I can modify a Data Source that I already defined in Power BI Desktop by adding tables I did not include initially, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance,
Paul
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @PaulKraemer - Go to Transform Data > Transform Data (this opens the Power Query Editor).
In the Power Query Editor, you can choose New Source and select the same ODBC connection to bring in additional tables.
From here, you can apply transformations, such as filtering or renaming columns, before loading the data.
