Afaik, if he is given the right access and the steps to use the VM then he can. Mac users can only use VM to install PBI desktop.

This is now the VM that I use from Hyper-V that is connected to a SSD. Windows 10. I use a Window laptop.
Does this give you the required information?I want to know if there is a similar solutons for Mac, so that the same VM (Windows Desktop) can be used on a Mac, just by plugging the SSD into the Mac.
