Power BI Desktop error when opening

Where does this error come from, and how can we solve it? Cannot perform interop call to: desktopDaxQueryViewHost_copilotSettingsHostService.GetAgentMetadataResponse(args:1) - wrong arg[0]=request...

    Hi MerelKentalis - The Copilot feature is in Preview, and it might be enabled without proper setup.
    There may be a version mismatch between Power BI Desktop and backend services.A bug in the current Power BI release or registry corruption.

     

    Navigate to: C:\Users\<YourUser>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop

    Delete or rename the AnalysisServicesWorkspaces and TempSaves folders.

     

    uninstall and install the latest version as below link:

    The way our IT department sets up our virual desktop including installations might be the reason this is happening. We will test this further. We currently think the issue is related to using different Power BI Desktop versions in our user profile. Deleting the Power BI Desktop folder works, but if this is THE solution to the issue will be something time will tell.
