In your error message, your os is 64bit. Woudl you please try to install power bi desktop 64bit for instead?

We downloaded and installed a version of May 2021-2.93.984.0, installed it in another path. It can startup, but can't open a report we created before. Has below error:

Change extension of .PBIX  to .zip,the file setting show the version.

I checked, it is 2.91.884.0. And I didn't find this version in official website. I also tried to download it with Chololatey, but failed. Is there any other source?

Hi @Anonymous , Maybe you can try v2.92 or v2.91 or the latest version can open it. Have you tried the latest version to open it?

If it doesn't work, please consider log issue as amitchandak said.

For some reason, we have to use this version. Because we need to upload a report to a on-prem Power BI Report server
