Power BI Desktop does not open when computer is offline

From the recent update versions, I don´t know precisely when, but now Power BI Desktop does not open when computer is offline.

This is really bad because some of my clients does not have guest network for me to use, and I cannot route my LTE cellphone because there is no reach to the cellphone antenna.

Unexpected error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Sounds like the same problem that someone mentioned in shouty all caps on the first page when you posted, which had been reported before that

hum... I searched before using only the words "Power BI Desktop Offline", and all it returned was gateway errors. this is why I posted the same issue, it seems...
so... do you have a solution?

This is a know issue. Please refer:

And as I know, it will be fixed in the next March release.
