Greetings,
I have not found a recent fix to this in the forum so I have decided to post this issue again. I have recently installed the latest Power BI Desktop version of 2.87.762.0 (32-bit). I dont know if it is related, but since this same time the export to PDF feature has stopped working. I click the button and it starts scanning each page and when it reaches the last one it closes my pbix file and no PDF is generated. The only workaround that has worked has been to publish the report into Power BI service and from there export.
any ideas what could be causing this?
Something similar happened to me, the program did not close, but when I finished scanning the pages a blank microsoft edge window opened and did not show me the PDF of my report. Fix this problem by placing Adobe acrobat as the default program for opening PDFs. Greetings.
Hi @Anonymous ,
I can't reproduce your problem. Could you please try to upgrade the version of your Power BI Desktop to the latest one? Please check whether the problem still persist after upgraded. By the way, how many pages included in your report? Which connection mode the data sources used?
Best Regards

Yes, do one thing, go to power bi service, in the settings icon, click "Get Help". Post this, you can create a ticket explaining the entire query and a microsoft agent will then contact you in a day for sure.
