Hello,
I am having an issue with the "Refresh data" feature. It was working great for years, but suddenly it does't react at all. After clicking on it, whole PBI Desktop starts to respond slower and content on visuals disappears. At the end it becomes unresponsive and I have to kill in the task manager. I cannot refresh any table, like date table, or simple power query generated list tables with 5 records.
I have reinstalled the PBI Desktop, I checked many settings, restarted app and machine many times. Nothing helps.
Any ideal what's wrong? Windows update, or some interference with another software?
Thank you very much
J.

I have the same problem and I urgently need the correction, I have to do it via Power Query.

I see. I haven't found similar topics before posting, next time I will check better.
Thank you all for your replies. It's kind of positive news - I don't have to reinstall my machine 🙂
I am going to downgrade

hi @jdibala
yes in latest version most of the people are facing this issue. please vote here so PBI team can fix this.
I hope I answered your question!
I'm having this same issue and would like to downgrade, but am not seeing anywhere to download prior versions of PBI Desktop. Do you know where to download prior versions?
EDIT: Found it! I had looked at this page a few times and didn't see the link buried pretty far down. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/fundamentals/desktop-latest-update-archive?tabs=powerbi-d...0
Downgrade to the May version while they "fix" this. Note: It does actually refresh but there is no visible indication.
