Power BI Desktop connects to Azure DevOps just fine, Power BI Service says credentials are wrong?

Error.gif

I have a Power BI report connected to Azure DevOps and its scheduled refresh started to bug out a week or two ago. The strange thing is that the dashboard refreshes just fine in Power BI Desktop. I can hit the refresh button in Power BI Desktop, load the latest information, and publish it manually to Power BI Service. However, when I schedule a refresh on Power BI Service, this is the message that comes up! I did wonder if it were a login case sensitivity issue and make sure my capitalization was correct, but that doesn't seem to be the issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @ailsazheng ,

When you configure Azure DevOps in power bi service, which Authentication Method you are using?

In addition, make sure the Privacy Level setting for this data source in power bi service is the same as in power bi desktop.

@ailsazheng , Just see if you need to some whitelisting of IPs at Azure Dev Ops level.

Refer to what you need to do for Power BI Service -https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/admin/power-bi-whitelist-urls

Even if the setup is correct and you are getting an issue then log an issue at -https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues

Hi Amit,

I think it is possible I need to whitelist IPs, I will ask our Azure DevOps administrator to see if that is the issue. I have been connecting at the Organization level using my username/password.
