Anonymous does it work on other machines in your org since they probably all have Symantec running? Can you test it on another machine?

I should have thought of doing that. I'm in my own little group and didn't think about the fact that there are hundreds of others out there at my org! 🙂
For what it's worth, here's the fix they found:
-Run CMD as admin
-Do a gpupdate/force to update all group policy’s
-Uninstall Power BI Desktop
- Delete the Power BI desktop folder under user profile C:\Program Files\Microsoft Power BI Desktop\
-Download and installed power BI 64bit for desktops from below link
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=58494
- Edit the application properties to run as an administrator (Right click icon, properties, compatibility tab)
-Reboot the system then test power BI.
Does it happen to you when you open the desktop and force you to log in? It happens to me that if I want to work withoutlogging in it does not let me close the login sale or work with the tool. Do now if you'd let me.
