Power BI Desktop - Unable to Transform Data

Hi All,

 

When user opens a Power BI file and then clicks on Transform Data, she can from here manipulate her tables and data and other tasks
- In this case, it will act like it is opening the file when she clicks on transform data, but it does nothing
- Issue just began today. Has been fine before
- Issue is happening with multiple files, all that we have tested
- No coworker is having this issue

    Anonymous , I am assuming she is not able open Transform data.

    Make sure she is using the latest version of Power BI Desktop and that there is no windows patch pending. If there is a pending page install that first.

     

    Also, make sure the files she trying to open are not live connection files.

     

    If that still does not resolve the issue, log an issue https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues

      Thanks for replying back. Just now i checked with user and got to know that she is using October 2023 version of Power BI desktop and connected to dataflows in Power BI desktop. Previously she was able to connect dataflows and transform the data but suddenly not able to transform the data.
