Power BI Desktop - Unable to Save Settings in Options Dialog

I've encountered an issue with Power BI Desktop downloaded from the Microsoft Store. When I attempt to change certain settings in the Options dialog (like enabling Map and Filled Map visuals or switching the theme to Legacy), the OK button doesn't work, preventing me from saving changes.

Troubleshooting Steps I've Tried:

  1. Restarting Power BI.
  2. Running Power BI as Administrator.
  3. Checking Windows permissions.
  4. Reinstalling the application from the Microsoft Store.
  5. Ensuring the application is fully updated.

Unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the issue. This problem affects my ability to use custom and map visuals, which are essential for my work.

Has anyone else experienced this, or is there a known solution? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you!

    Sanghadip what is the Power BI version? Also can you share the screen shot of what settings you are referring to?

      Same problem here and I don't seem to find a solution. I also reinstalled and everything but still det OK button just gets grayed out and nothing happens when I try to change settings, it applies to any settings. If I log is as admin, I can change settings and it works, but it does'nt save it for my other user. Any updates, pls?????

    Did you ever solved this? We are running into same issues. Would be very happy if anyone found and can share a solution or any suggestions.

    I have the exact same issue. Pls can you get back to us with some information? It look like it's something to do with how the windows user settings are managed on the specific machine. For my company, I have a separate account to to admin stuff so I cannot make the changes I want with my other user. Is there a user options file we can manipulate, maybe?
