Power BI Desktop Requirements 2023

Looking to upgade laptop.  Does the recommendation below meet the demand of Power BI Desktop or does it need to be adjusted? 

Issues:

1. Loading large dataflows causes out of memory errors (tried increasing cache, did not help)
2. 250 SSD Hard Drives are maxed out with NLG and Cache items.

Thank you for the recommendations.   Optimization is definately a key component as well.  Kudos for the mention and reminder.

32 GB of RAM should give you enough breathing space for this year. Note that you will also need to dive into the Power BI config files to optimize the use of your available resources. Some of the mashup container limits are rather low.

It's a moving target.  Read Chris Webb's blog. Regularly comb through the Power BI blog, and the Power BI Desktop settings.
