Power BI Desktop RS May 2021 - can run as admin on...

Hello

A colleague has an issue with Power BI Desktop that he can only run it as admin. But a few other people including myself do not have this issue. Any idea why this happens? And if there is any solution? I suggested him to uninstall, delete all the associated folders and then reinstall it again to see if it helps.

If the version matters, it is Power BI Desktop RS May 2021.

@Dimani , The version might have been installed as Admin and only for admin user.

Amitchandak,

All four users' scenario are the same, we ran the installation media as an admin. After installation, we run the software as a regular user, and 3 of us do not have this issue.
