Hi,
After the upgrade of desktop version to Oct 2024 last week, an unexpected issue is appearing especially in the Matrix visual. (though I haven't checked all types of visuals).
Basically, when I try to add a specific Time dimension, it throws a black screen (its a windows command prompt screen) & then the visual is not working & showing an strange error message. see blow.
One of my other colleague is with September 2024 version & he is able to see the visual without error. So we have concluded this could be due to latest version. Not sure of other possible reasons, hence raising this in the community.
Also noticed there was a similar issue raised in the community long ago refer the link below

Thankyou for the time and looking forward,
JR
I have the same issue on my end and this started only about last week. I've made different attempts to get this fixed but nothing works.
Unfortunately, downgraded to previous version works.
Hi @JR-IN - Since the issue doesn't occur on the older version, consider reverting to that until a patch is released.Given that this issue may be specific to the new version, it would be beneficial to report it to Microsoft directly for a more immediate resolution.

Hi Raj,
Downgraded the version to September was the only option to overcome that issue, now I did and the report works as it was earlier.
Thankyou for sharing the link for reporting this new versiondefects. Will do so.
