Power BI Desktop _ HIve Issue

Hello:

 

I have used Cloudera as well Microsoft ODBC Driver to connect to HIVE Tables and i am getting following error.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Error:-

 

DataSource.Error: ODBC: ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][Hardy] (35) Error from server: error code: '0' error message: 'MetaException(message:java.lang.NullPointerException)'.
Details:
    DataSourceKind=Odbc
    DataSourcePath=dsn=MS_HIVE
    OdbcErrors=Table

    Hi aaditya2000,

     

    Here is a similar thread in which a workaround is mentioned. Could you go to check if it works in your scenario? :smileyhappy:

    I downgraded my MapR Hive driver to 2.15 version and it worked successfully.
