Power BI Desktop - Adding visual from Store causes infinite loading

Hello,

 

we have the case on one specific client, that downloading a new visual from the Store causes an infinite loading screen.

It doesnt matter which visual it is and also, it happens when we try this with a empty report that is not even connected to any datasource.

 

I wasnt able to find any similar case, so I hope anybody had that problem already.

Any ideas how to fix it?

The version used is the October 2022 one.

I was having the exact same issue while trying to download visuals. Some visuals on the marketplace I could load their page and download and add them to my report. More visuals than not, though, would not load no matter how long I waited (went to lunch ~30 minutes). We have an "admin" account for power bi as well as our individual accounts, while having these issues I was logged in to this admin account. After logging in to my individual work account everything is working as expected. Not sure if this helps but wanted to share as I have been trying to resolve this issue all week!

@Johann_32 , I saw this issue a few days back too. Please make sure the customer is on the latest version and logged in.
