Hi all,
As a new user of Microsoft's Power BI, I have a question regarding the relationships/model and how to deploy it to new projects.
What I would like to do is to create new projects in the future that make use of the model as displayed in the relationships tab in my current project.
In this way, I don't have to model the data each time I create a new project, something that is a rather trivial function, but I can't seem to figure out.
If someone could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it very much.
Kind regards

Hi,
If i have understood it right, you want to create multiple reports from a principal data model, right?
If that is so, you just would need to have your main data model, with all the columns and measures that you need, published into power bi online, and then, create reports with that data model as data source 😄 All the relationships, Row Level Security and other things, are the same as on the main data model.
If you want to reuse your model, you can save your .pbix into template file (.pbit). Next time, when you create your report, just import that template file.

Hi Salvador,
Thanks for your quick response! Yes you understood it good.
But when I look in Power BI, I don't have the option "Power BI Service", see the screenshot.
Do you know another solution? Or a work-around?
UPDATE: To add Power BI service, follow this link: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-desktop-report-lifecycle-datasets/
I'll try your solution and will let it know if your solution works fine.
