Power BI Copilot - Workspace
Hi KarimMomo
If you are unable to select a workspace to link to Copilot in Microsoft Fabric, here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue:
- Verify Capacity and Licensing:
- Ensure your workspace is assigned to a paid Fabric capacity (F64 or higher) or Power BI Premium capacity (P1 or higher). Copilot is not supported on trial SKUs (
- Confirm that your tenant or capacity is within a supported region. If it is outside the US or France, you might need to enable a specific setting to allow data to be processed outside your geographic region
- Admin Settings:
- Your Fabric tenant admin must enable Copilot in the Fabric admin portal. Ensure that the relevant tenant switch is enabled before you start using Copilot.
- Permissions:
- Make sure you have the necessary permissions. You need admin, member, or contributor access to at least one workspace that supports Copilot
- Check for Errors:
- If the workspace selection dialog does not appear or shows an error, it might indicate that none of your workspaces have the right capacity.
If everything is fine and still you can't get the access, open a ticket with Microsoft:
